PRECISION AGRICULTURE PROJECT MANAGER/AGRICULTURAL RESEARCHER

We work with the agronomist, machinery dealer or direct with the grower to achieve practical and profitable results for all sectors of agriculture.

An exciting opportunity has arisen where we are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic project manager/agricultural researcher with a primary focus on managing our existing European Space Agency and Innovate UK development projects.

The successful candidate should also be able to conceive, write and develop to commercial release, new research proposals in areas of commercial interest to the company.

This role will be a combination of office and field work, is full-time and permanent, based near Brechin and involves travel, predominantly in the UK. You will concurrently be involved in multiple projects throughout UK from field work to successful on-farm integration, working with some of the leading agricultural companies, research organisations and universities in Europe.

Skills & Experience

• Educated to degree level or above or equivalent experience
• Practical knowledge of UK arable agriculture
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Proven strength in data analysis and report writing
• Strong computer literacy
• Ability to work within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• A proven team player with a flexible, positive and professional attitude
• Knowledge and understanding of the precision ag industry would be an advantage
