Wintex 1000 can be delivered from the factory mounted on an ATV, Honda TRX 450 S/ES Foreman, but it can also be delivered separately for installation on other vehicles. After installation of the Wintex 1000 on an ATV you will have a quick and effective transport and sampling machine for all kinds of ground, and at the same time the hydraulic system is integrated into the ATV, which means a low noise machine without need for an extra engine.

Electrical power for Wintex 1000 is supplied by the quad and it needs 12-Voltage DC. The battery on the ATV needs a capacity of 14 Amph and a load capacity of 250 Watt. The control circuit for the Wintex 1000 must be connected to the electrical brake system on the ATV. Hydraulic supply: 7.5 litre/min at 75 - 100 bar.

If the soil sampling machine is used in combination with a GPS positioning system you will have a can make variable rate lime and fertiliser application maps.

Principle: The Wintex 1000 takes homogeneous soil samples to the depth of 30 cm (approx. 12"). The depth can vary infinitely from 10 - 30 cm (approx. 4" - 12"). The soil sample is taken with a probe and not as for other soil sampling machines with an auger. This means that Wintex 1000 takes a completely homogeneous sample comprising of a cone of soil that is taken from the desired depth. If the sample is taken with an auger you will always take more material from the top layers than the bottom layers of soil.

The Wintex 1000 is distinguished by the fact that it can take soil samples in any kind of soil - including newly ploughed soil. The specially developed probe has a size which with 10-14 sticks takes about 300 grams of soil. This is the quantity of soil needed at the laboratory for analysis. The soil sample can be automatically filled into a plastic box that is sent to the laboratory which means a quick and effective way of getting through work. The Wintex 1000 has a capacity of 38 soil samples per hour with 10 probes in each, which means 380 sticks per hour, as all functions are carried out from the driver's seat.
